Child Safety Standards
Effective Date: November 1, 2025
Konnext is committed to creating a safe environment for our adult community and to upholding the strongest possible standards for the protection of minors. This document sets out our policies, procedures, and contact information related to child safety, in compliance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and applicable laws.
1. Adults-Only Service
Konnext is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the service. Any account discovered to belong to a person under 18 will be immediately terminated and the data deleted.
2. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content, behaviour, or solicitation that sexualises, abuses, exploits, or endangers a minor. This includes Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form (image, video, text, audio, AI-generated, animated, or fictional); sexualised conversations involving or directed at minors; solicitation, grooming, or attempts to obtain personal information from minors; trafficking, recruitment, or facilitation of physical contact with a minor; sextortion, blackmail, or sharing of intimate imagery involving minors. Violation results in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
3. Age Verification
Konnext requires users to confirm they are 18 or older during registration; provide a date of birth that is verified during identity verification (KYC); submit a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie that are matched by our verification system; pass a liveness check designed to defeat photo, screen replay, and similar spoofing attacks. Users whose verification fails or who appear to be under 18 are blocked from using social features and prevented from interacting with other users.
4. In-App Reporting
Every user, in every chat or profile context, can report another user without leaving the app. Reports include a dedicated category for users who appear to be under 18. Reports are received by our moderation team and reviewed in priority order, with reports involving minors handled first. Submitting a report immediately hides the reported content from the reporter and offers a one-tap block.
5. Proactive Content Moderation
Konnext combines automated and human moderation. All identity verification photos are reviewed both automatically (face matching, liveness) and manually by our admin team before a profile is marked verified. Profile photos and community posts are screened for nudity and minors before publication. Live Match (PK Battle) rooms are monitored in real time using Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch on periodic camera frames; flagged participants are removed and the incident queued for review. Every Live Match is recorded and retained for at least 48 hours (14 days when reported) for moderator audit. Reports are triaged by trained moderators within 24 hours; the most severe (CSAE) reports are escalated immediately. Persistent or severe violators are permanently banned and their identifiers are added to internal block-lists to prevent re-registration.
6. Cooperation With Law Enforcement
When Konnext discovers, or is made aware of, content or activity that may constitute CSAE, we preserve relevant evidence, report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and cooperate with the Royal Thai Police, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), and other competent authorities. We respond to lawful requests under the procedures described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Compliance With Applicable Laws
We comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Developer Program Policies; Apple App Store Review Guidelines; Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and Computer Crimes Act; Thailand's Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act and the Child Protection Act B.E. 2546 (2003); and 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting obligations where applicable.
8. Designated Child Safety Contact
For questions, takedown requests, law enforcement inquiries, or concerns about child safety on Konnext, contact codeweb.service.th@gmail.com with subject prefix [CHILD SAFETY]. We acknowledge child safety reports within 24 hours and act on confirmed CSAE within 24 hours of confirmation. Urgent matters (imminent harm) should also be reported to local emergency services and the Royal Thai Police hotline 1599.
9. Updates
We review this document at least annually and whenever Google Play, Apple, or applicable law materially changes. Updates take effect on publication.
